Character name/class/race: Brush Stroke/Rogue/Kenku Character background (1 paragraph): Stroke is a criminal. He has been this way since the age of 15; stealing valuables people may have left behind, pickpocketing coin and trinkets, and occasionally thieving directly from vendors and shops. However, he does not do this for himself... mostly. A large portion of the items he steals goes to trying to repay a debt to Gallagher Flint, a generous halfling that played a large portion in his mother's recovery from a violent hate crime. Even though the halfling tells the bird not to worry about this debt, Stroke is intent on paying him back tenfold for being one of the few people that cared, and the only person that decided to take action and help his mother in her recovery and in her trial against the racist assaulter. Unfortunately, the only way he knows how to do this is by stealing. However, he will not steal from his allies or friends. Why you love role-playing games (1-2 sentences): I enjoy role-playing games because it allows me to immerse myself in a new world and do things that are impossible in the real world... and things that I wouldn't be able to do in the normal world.
