Introduction Hello, my name is Aaron, i have begun the search for new adventurers in a campaign i plan to be long term. I hope to find people who are more character focused and looking to tell a story, as well as be a part of one. I've been doing this for quite some time now, and i understand my games are not everyone's cup of tea. There are loads of sessions focused more on dialogue and intrigue and it is not unheard of to go quite a few sessions without a traditional combat. On top of that, I'm VERY rules light, i dislike taking about mechanics mid-session, and hope that people can roll with the punches, and approach me afterwards if they disliked something. I try to weave characters into the campaign hoping to utilize their backstories and motivations, however, i do believe these games to be cooperative. I always love seeing my players attempting to explore their personal goals outside of or alongside of the plot arcs, without me constantly prompting them, or dangling something. Game System the system we will be playing is a hack of sorts derived from City of Mist, i have chosen this game because i think having Power tags instead of stats adds to the narrative significance of your character and rolls. If you're unfamiliar with CoM, totally fine, the only things i'm borrowing from the system are its tags and move list which are easy to explain. The system itself focuses on creating "tags" derived from your personality or abilities like a court sorcerer could have a tag "Position of Influence" the player could utilize this anytime they were trying to persuade someone who would care about that. they might also have a tag "Terra's Embrace" giving them command over the very earth they walk upon. These tags can be stacked, and each adds a +1 to your roll, it operates on a 2d6 system, and most who've played any Powered By The Apocalypse games will be familiar with the mechanics. each action taken is as descriptive and flavored as the player likes. there aren't set spells, or specific maneuvers, it's meant to focus on the cinematic.
