Hello im currently looking for players for a homebrew setting [CORE BOOKS] the current players are lvl 3. The world is based of of alot of old 1st ed content like judges guild and basic d and d . The City-State of Caulder won the war with the Lizard people 150 years ago in the Battle of the bog , when the hero Zaghia faced the Lizard Tsathoggus on the battlefield while ten's of thousand's of soldiers raged war on all around them while explosions of fire and magical energy blasted friend and foe alike , and the battle raged into the night . When the Sun rose the next morning over the peaks of the mountains Zaghia drove his spear into Tsathoggus's heart and out his back , and with the lizard armies being beaten badly in the night by the armies of Elves , Men , Dwarves, they retreated back to the Venom marshes from whence they came . As Tsathoggus lay dying he called one last time to his god to curse the lands of men and, lay waste to Zaghia , the ground it self shook as a great earthquake opened huge crevices into the earth , many of the armies were trapped and died from the massive earth quake as a huge mountain was pushed out of the very ground , causing a Tsunami that leveled many coastal regions , only those with great magic survived killing millions and injuring millions more . The sun disappeared from the sky then for only minutes , but Zaghia nor Tsathoggus were seen since . The current Date is 151 A.Z. and relative peace has sustained the Kingdom of Caulder , regular squabble among the lords and ladies of the different Houses aside times were good , until people started going missing . Wandering along a road at night the wind blew a parchment , it looked like a Wanted poster . You snatched it up to see that the Duke of Lud Rolfe Lim had gone missing and the current bounty on information was 1000 gold , and returning the duke alive to his pregnant wife would net you 50 thousand gold , enough to live the rest of your days in luxury . [ the players currently have found an outpost of The Band of the Red Hand , a pirate group wanted by the king , found a magic statue that would answer 1 question that told them to look under Lud , along with a note left by a woman that was taken by the Band in a near by ruin/ base of operations called the Tower of Zenopus , that says she was abducted in the city of Lud and taken underneath into the sewers .] players will start at lvl 3 currently , have discord and a mic , and really want to play . id much rather have a strong desire to play and no experience than the other way around . id like to have a group of 6 players not including myself the DM . there will be some homebrew 2 things right out of the gate sanity : add you intelligence , wisdom and, charisma together for a number between 3 and 54 . then divide this by 3 this will give you your sanity score the second is Social Level this will affect your world renown and how Constables and nobles will treat you among other things . and is a number between 1-20 and is set by me at the start of the game . this can go up or down depending on your actions , crimes committed and favors you do . if you are interested pm me here and ill get back to you thanks
