Player Character Bullpen

Hey there everybody. I've been DM'ing the DnD next playtest for a few months now using Roll20.  Long story short I really like it.  There is one thing that bothers me when I am DM'ing though.  I would like a Bullpen or some sort of ability to save my PC's tokens and all the settings associated with each.  It's bothersome to have to search for the token, drop it on the map, give the player control, set it to display healthbars and names, and make changes to their vision/light radius.  Doing all of this multiple times a session for multiple PC's is a pain in the butt.  What I would really like is to be able to set this information in the characters bio/stat sheet (under GM info), then just drag their portrait onto the map and be good to go.  This would be a major quality of life improvement for me and my games, and would love it if you could implement this idea or something similar.  Thanks!

Out of curiosity, why do you need to do this multiple times per session. You should only need to do it once per campaign. Could you explain why you are having to do it many times a session?  Note: I am not commenting on the suggestion, only trying to determine what the difficulty is. This suggestion has been made a number of times btw.  - Gauss
+1 I agree. A great feature I'd love to see. To Justin M. -A work around I use is to create an extra map where I just put copies of player tokens, bad guy tokens, and bits of scenery that I expect to use. Then I can jump to a single map page with everything and copy/paste what I need. It also retains the links between token and player. Not nearly as good as a Bullpen, but thought you might find it useful.
To Gauss:  Every time we switch maps, which is usually more than once a session, I need to search for each token/portrait using the image  search in the art library.  Then I need to set the control permissions, health bars, light radius, etc etc for each character.  Based your comment I feel like there is something I'm missing, could you clarify what exactly you mean by, "You should only need to do it once per campaign."  As far as I know, there is no way to save the token with all the relevant information, settings and permissions, that I can drag and drop on the fly.  Thanks for taking the time to respond. =) To Justin S: That is a brilliant idea, and I will implement it immediately. Thank you.

Justin M., Justin S. Already indicated how: group all of the PC's tokens together (for ease of copying) and then grab them all and copy them. Go to the new map and paste them. Alternately, you can do what Justin S. suggested and then copy the tokens from there. Many people (including myself) do this.  - Gauss
Just implemented this, and it is much better, thanks to the both of you!

Justin M., as an additional note if you want to copy everything on a single layer you can hit Ctrl+A followed by Ctrl+C then go to the map.layer where you want stuff placed and hit Ctrl+V (note, before hitting Ctrl+V click on the map where you want things to be centered).  - Gauss
As others have said, just create a small map (like 10x10) and use that to store all the player's tokens. Link them with Character Sheets on the journal tab, and you'll only have to copy and paste the tokens to the new map. No more fiddling with token settings each time.
