So the 5e Character sheet has an option to Roll your to hit in a small table, with hte option to expand the Macro if you hit for damage, how do you do that with out a Character sheet from 5e?
Write a macro that does the attack. Write another macro that does the damage. Include a chat menu link in the first macro to call the second one. Chat menus can be found in the Stupid Tricks thread that is stickied in this forum. The first post is an index (lots of stuff in that thread). Chat menus are here: <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/5927072/" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/permalink/5927072/</a>
To find the Ability code that is called from any sheet button, click the button to run the Ability. Then click in the chat input area and press the up arrow key. This will show the code previously sent. You can copy that code into a macro or token ability, and edit it as you like.
