Returning Player Looking for Long-term Weekly 5e Group (Eastern Standard)

I haven't played in about 18 years but I recently picked up the Eberron book and it completely rekindled my love. I've been ruthlessly investigating all the changes and new sub-classes (so many!) and races (so many!) that have been introduced over the years, and I really want to get back into it. I have a monthly in-person group starting on March 3rd, but monthly just isn't enough for me. I need more. If a DM out there doesn't mind a bit of hand-holding as I reacquaint myself all over again ("wait I roll a what again?"), and learn the Roll20 system ("where's the whatsit that does the thing again?"), I'll pick it all back up pretty fast, I promise. I guess I'll also mention that I'm a published author, and have kind of a knack for improvising storylines and character interactions.
I probably undersold myself a bit with that post. I won't need as much hand-holding as originally implied. Just didn't want to present myself as some professional Grand Master Champion Role Playing Guru from Beyond Outer Space. Everything in extremes. D'uh.
If you find a DM I have a friend, and we would join you. If that works?
Sure. Having trouble finding a DM though. Started messing with trying to start one myself but I'm in over my head as far as that goes I think.
Hi! It might benefit you, to indicate your availability. You did mention your timezone, but that only helps so much. For instance, are you available afternoons, weekdays or weekends, only specific timeslots sprinkled throughout? Especially if you plan to join an existing campaign, a prospective Gm would need to know whether you could meet pre-arranged session times.
I've actually managed to overbook myself with campaigns since I first posted this. Roll20 is the best and worst thing that ever happened to me.
