[LFP] D&D 5E FR Inexperienced DM Running a Game with Flexible Times

Hi everyone. I've been looking to join a game for a while but can't commit to 1 time/day every week as I work a job with irregular shifts so I haven't played any yet. So I have decided to try and set up a regular game using Roll20 with me as the DM. I have little to no experience as a DM, so I'm looking for a group of people, experienced or inexperienced, to join the group and learn with me.  If you're interested please respond with a little information about yourself, a little info about the character you intend to play, your usual availability (or if you don't have any usual availability like me then say so), timezone, whether you have read/played any published adventures, and any hobbies or interests. I would like to make this an ongoing campaign, starting at level 1. I am UTC+0 (GMT), I usually have my shifts about 3 weeks in advance so should be able to plan sessions that far ahead. I understand not everyone will be able to make each session so I will probably take a larger group to account for this.  I will be running the game on Roll20, and probably using Discord for chat. I'm thinking of a session 0 either next week or the week after depending on responses. Hope to hear from some of you soon.
Hey my name is george. I am looking to join another game. I have had a regular group for about three years and have both spent a lot of time playing and dming, but this will be my first time on roll20. I live in Kentucky so am in the eastern time zone. My schedule is pretty solid so I would only really be able to play on weekends, I might be able to play during the week if we get started around 6 or so.  I am planning on playing a dragonborn paladin/sorcerer, probably only 2 lvi dip in paladin. But depending on group comp I can be pretty flexible on that.  Hope to hear from you soon, have a good one!
Hi George! Unfortunately I can't really do weekends as I work them most of the time, and 6pm your time is around 11pm my time.  If your schedule changes at all let me know! Thanks!

I'd love to join whenever our schedules match up, as my work days change regularly from week to week. The one part of my schedule that never changes is the fact that I work a 12 hour night shift. I live in the central U.S. so my timezone is UTC -6 (CST). My general availability will be around 1 PM to 9 PM UTC (GMT). I have been into D&D for a long time, but I have very little experience actually playing the game. That being said, I enjoy all parts of the game, from the role-playing to the progression of combat. The main thing I enjoy is the social aspect: Seeing people get into their characters and breathe life into a shared story. I like to think of myself as a group-oriented player: I'm always willing to fill a needed role or take on a particular task. I generally prefer melee-oriented heroes (barbarians, monks, fighters, etc.) but I'm very flexible because I like to build my characters around the world that they're inhabiting. I like creating backstories and reasons for things to exist, even if I'm not always good at blending everything together. I have not read any published adventures and I like playing ARPGs (Diablo, Path of Exile, etc.), Warhammer 40k and watching Critical Role.

Hi, I'm Moshea, GMT-6 (US Central Standard Time). I have absolutely no schedule and can play anywhere from the middle of the day or night as I am a freelance writer and make my own schedule.  Growing up I wrote Writing RPGs on forums, which was my first personal introduction to roleplaying myself. As for D&D, my parents met that way and I grew up hearing some of the lingo. I'm a n00b wanting to break in to D&D to spend some of my past times more pleasurably. Currently I am a singer-songwriter, baker, blogger, animal enthusiast, enjoyer of the written word, and a poet.  As for who I would play, I'm leaning towards a chaotic neutral bard or mage. I like to be silly, so expect a silly character from me. I'm not into doom and gloom unless it's sarcasm.
