My wife has just been accepted for classes on Thursday nights, leaving me with some free time I’d like to fill with a D&D campaign! I DM for a home game every other weekend, but it’d be great to be a player for a while. I’ve been playing for about 4 years now, mostly in Adventurer’s League. That’s fun, but I’d like the chance to get into a consistent group and really get into character development and a long term story, and not just provide one for my players. I’d prefer a group of players 18+, and while I’m a straight white male myself I’m very accepting of all people, and I find that the more diverse a group is, the more fun and interesting it is. I’m totally fine with playing one of the published adventure modules, but if you’ve got a homebrew that still fits into the “classic” fantasy tropes I’m down for that too. I don’t really homebrew much for my own characters, I find there are plenty of options for me in established content. As for what I’d like to play, I have a few concepts in mind, but I usually would prefer to play something that fills a role the party needs. Or just play a cleric. I freaking love clerics. So if there’s a group out there needing a player for Thursday nights, I’m available anytime after 6 PM EST and would love to get into a game!
