I am running an open world campaign and have a excessive amount to maps. Is there a way to compress this so it is easier to find the right map without side scrolling though them all?

With a free account you can't move them into a library campaign. I assume you don't want to just archive them (this really means "hide"--they don't actually leave the game). There is this style you could install:  Add Rows to Map Tab
