Detailed Description of the Problem If you change the name on a character sheet with tokens linked to it, the name plates of the linked tokens do not automatically update to the new name. Steps to Reproduce the Problem Create a char sheet on the journal Add a token to the map link the token to the char sheet and display the name plate edit the char sheet to rename the token and save it displayed name plate does not update - even with browser page refresh or campaign reload Description of Your Setup (Browser + Version, Operating System, etc.) (A good place to get that info if you don't know it: http://supportdetails.com/ ) Operating System Apple Mac OS X 10.8.2 Intel Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 Web Browser Chrome 25.0.1364.152 Browser Size 1327 x 700 IP Address Color Depth 24 Javascript Yes Flash Version 11.6.602 Cookies Yes User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8_2) AppleWebKit/537.22 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/25.0.1364.152 Safari/537.22
This is actually working as intended now. We had the Names of the Characters/Tokens be 100% linked before, but a lot of folks wanted to be able to call the token something different (so e.g. you could create a bunch of Bear tokens linked to one Bear character with the right stats/abilities, but call the tokens themselves Bear 1, Bear 2, Bear 3...) Now when you first link the token to the Character it will gain the name of the Character, but after that the token name is independent of the Character name.
