Not sure if there is some sort of setting to resolve, but I see this issue several times. I don't think it is specific to this module (Odyssey of the Dragonlords). When I acquire a module that has expanded compendium option with the same name as an SRD / monster manual compendium item, it overwrites the SRD compendium token. Module handout: Compendium: Result when dragged on grid for token: To resolve I have to delete the journal sheet, then drag the compendium Item fresh.
