Reviewing applications. Thanks everyone for applying. Hey folks My name is Rizzo, this is my second time DMing a campaign.
I prefer smaller tables, 4-5 players, this allows for more streamlined
combat experience and better, more intimate RP between characters. For
current listing, we are looking for 1 more player (there are 4 of us
who know each other locally and play in different campaign together). Game time is gonna be weekly on Thursday nights, 6-630pm EST. Destiny's Edge (⬅️
link to campaign lore and general information) is a militaristic style
DND5e Homebrew, heavily based on storylines of Guild Wars 2. Player characters must all be Hobgoblins , starting at level 4. We use DNDBeyond for character sheets (DM provides all necessary materials through master subscription). Character creation guidelines: Player characters must be Hobgoblin race. No Artificers. Otherwise there are no restrictions on classes and subclasses (No UA content). Players allowed to choose between Point Buy or Rolling for stats. Rolling for stats 2d6+6 or 4d6 keep 3. You allowed to roll twice and choose either set. Rolling for stats must be in presence of DM. Players allowed to pick 1 free feat for their first character. If your character is proficient with martial weapons, you also get Firearm Specialist feat for free. Campaign Homebrew Rules: Consuming Healing Potion as an action heals for maximum amount, consuming Healing Potion as a bonus action requires a roll. Nat 20s on a skill check are not guaranteed success. For Hitpoints increase on level ups, players choose either average or roll (decision is permanent). Players can reroll 1s. Healing Spirit spell can only be case in combat. To use Help action on a skill check, assisting character must be proficient in said skill. DM
uses custom Critical Hit Tables and Fumble Tables. Rolls have to be
confirmed for an effect 17+ for Nat20s, 4 and below for Nat1s. If you have any additional questions regarding campaign, feel free to leave them here. Otherwise if you are interested please follow a link here and fill up short application. Cheers!
