What Is Going on Here? Dynamic Lighting Frustration!

Hope someone can give me some insight. Most rooms in this cave are supposed to have a lit lantern. Now, the snapshots I am sharing below, show the kitchen and pantry area enclosed with dynamic lighting lines; which if not mistaken, should prevent a PC token from seeing what's inside unless he/she enters. How is it then that, when I "re-join as a player", the kitchen is revealed to the PC token, while in a hallway? Now, I have a lantern in there with it's light emit set to 60/30, and "all players can see", and the individual Rock Gnome Recluses have darkvision set to 60/-5, and lastly, I have the Dynamic Lighting settings for the page set with: enforce line of sight, only update on drop and restrict movement. Shouldn't the walls prevent the PC token from seeing inside the kitchen without it ever being revealed as of yet? Is there a fix for this? Thanks in advance!

It looks like you have control of the Rock gnomes. Either remove your control from them, or better yet, create a  Dummy Account  to test lighting with. It's much surer than any other method.

As a player do you have control over those tokens? Because if so, you'll see it all. You see the visible area for any token you control.
Also, if the rock gnomes are NPC's, they don't need vision.

Some people give NPCs vision for determining line of sight. I don't like to make Roll20 work any harder than it has too, though. I'll usually select the target PC and Ctrl-L on them , figuring if they can see the bad guy, the bad guy can see them.
Aaaaah!!! Thanks everyone! This is exactly what happened!! I was in control of Rock Gnomes!! Thank you thank you thank you!!
