It's 1936 and the Nazi menace is on the rise in Germany, the last bits of the Golden Age are fading as America struggles through the depression, and strange things are stirring in the world's jungles, deserts, and ancient ruins. Daring Tales will be an irregularly scheduled game of two-fisted action, investigation, punching Nazis, thrilling chases, and strange mysteries. Drop in for one session or stay for the whole adventure. Bring your own pulp character or play one of the existing pre-gens. During quarantine, I hope to run this once a week during the day (US time). Who knows after that. Rules: Fate Core. Play a pre-gen or bring your own pulp character (Novice at this point) Day/Time: TBD, during the day US times, Monday - Thursday. Length: On going one shots. Probably won't finish the adventure in one session, but you can drop-in & drop-out as your like. Voice: Discord Beginners welcome.
Hi there, a game I can drop in and out of sounds just about perfect right now. Also, would like to punch Nazis. Have a couple of character concepts to kick around but could take a pre-gen. I'm basically a beginner at Fate.
I am in theory very interested, but I need more information on date/time. I'm almost always available after 6:00 PM EST, am also off twice a week, (although which days those are vary week to week) and once a week my work day ends at 3:30 (although which day vary from week to week)
would play if knew if it was being ran
LOL, no comments for 3 weeks and then suddenly a group interested. OK, let's see if there's a time in the coming week that will work. Here's a When2Meet to see when everyone available: https://www.when2meet.com/?9061644-hKFf4
ill join the when 2 meet as well
Looks like there is a 1 hour window on Tuesday where 3 players could meet. That's not enough for a game this week. I'll put up another When2Meet later this week to try for next week.
Huh, looks like I'm the idiot this time. Yes - LX, Cubedancer, Marie - are all available 1 - 4 MST (3 - 6 EST) on Tuesday. So let's give this a shot then. I'll get the game setup, send links, etc probably tomorrow morning.
Link for tomorrow's game (Tuesday the 28th, 3:00 PM EST): https://app.roll20.net/join/3837217/WGwYnw You'll find the pre-gens in the character section. First come, first served. There is also some "Blank Characters" if you want to enter your own character. Standard Fate Core rules.
Dr Starkweather, in cahoots with the Nazis, is going to nerve gas attack Washington DC from his zeppelin. Can the PCs stop it in time? I'll be running another session of this pre-gens, drop in/out Pulp game next week. This will probably be just a 2 hour session. If interested, let me know what time works and I'll pick what works best. https://www.when2meet.com/?9078827-u8qRE

I'd like to jump in this week & added myself to the when2meet schedule. If the stars align and the game is held when I'm available, I'll whip up a novice character ahead of time. I'll wait to hear from you if I'm in for this week and if any roll20/discord invites are coming my way.
I'd love to join
Actually I'm interested in this as well. It just randomly popped up in my inbox but sounds like my kinda game!
Sorry, this is currently on hiatus. Not sure when the next running of it might be.
