Moving things through layers

Besides changing the layer and then clicking on the token and moving it’s layer from the GM layer to the token layer and then moving back to the token layer. How can I do this more quickly it’s annoying and multiple times I forgot to go back to the token layer and couldn’t figure out why stuff wasn’t working

You could use Bump to manage what layer it's on. Bump creates an invisible token on whichever layer the actual token isn't on. That means you can manipulate it on either layer. https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/7079958/script-update-bump-now-with-support-for-players-allowing-your-dastardly-rogue-to-hide-from-his-party-and-your-invisible-warlock-to-surprise-her-companions

When using bump, just remember that green means go. That always confused me in the beginning, but once you use it, you'll wonder how you lived without it. You can have every map set up with creatures prior to game time and jut bump them to the token layer with the touch of a button.
