Our group of 4 recently lost our DM due to real life issues. We are in need of an experienced DM to restart our campaign. We were only 3 sessions into Hoard of the Dragon Queen and level 4, so we will be starting fresh and are open to pretty much any campaign. Main determining factor is our group's only availability is evenings, Eastern US time, preferably NOT Wednesday. We are seeking a DM for a weekly game. Here are the details/preferences: Group of 4 (2 real life friends who are relative newbies when it comes to 5e and Roll but with decades of various digital and PnP rpgs. Will be very little 5e handholding, mainly just the Roll intricacies) We are looking for a session time M-F (prefer NOT Wednesday), roughly 630-930PM EST. We are sometimes able to start a bit early and usually go a bit long, so 6-10/630-1030 should be considered normal. Dcord for voice, Roll for combat. Looking for someone familiar with the Roll website/system The only premium module we have on Roll is Hoard, but are open to any you have. Comfortable with mature language (18+) Start at level 3-5 Point buy allowed (or better by rolls or if you have your own preferred method) Current group makeup is Druid, Hex Pally, Wiz, Rog/Lock. This may change slightly. Planning a long enough game to reach at least level 12-15 (Prefer a rate of leveling to achieve this in a year or so, 12-18 months, but want to have fun and don't want to rush or force it) In general we are looking for a rules-lenient DM. I have a short list of specific issues, but will list the most important few below... Would prefer a game with a "high magic" setting. Magic items are fun and we would like to play around with them as much as possible. For group stability over a long game, we wanted to keep player count low. This and our group makeup has resulted in being a bit light on healing. We have planned around out of combat healing by exploiting the Druid spell Healing Spirit. UA is hit or miss, so many of the other questions are about UA stuff, but our Druid is built around Shadow Halfling availability. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
