[LFG] Fairly experienced player

Hello! I'm 25, I've been playing 5e with my friends a few times a month for about a year now, and was a DM for them weekly for almost a year prior to that. I've enjoyed getting to play quite a bit and really want play some more to broaden my horizons in RPGs. As I said, 5e is where all my experience is but I'd enjoy trying other systems too. I'm in England so UTC+1 currently, and Sundays are generally reserved for my other group. Only want to play with others over 18. PM if you've got a spot for me and let's chat!
Yo, I have a custom world and setting I'll be starting a campaign in. There will be an introductory one-shot with pre-made characters this Saturday. It'll work mostly so the players can get the gist of my setting and my DMing style. I'm at GMT-3, if you're interested, gimme a holler.
I have a group on Thursday evenings approximately 6-7 PM (GMT-5). If this doesn't work then you don't need to reply to me. Feel free to contact me if it does.
I have a paid game on Wednesday if you are interested. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/194865/tales-of-the-yawning-portal
Hey Franky! I hear you. I'm sort of in your shoes as well. We've been on and off of d&d 5e and Stars Without Number for about three years. I've been exploring a bunch of RPG systems recently. Warhammer Fantasy 4th ed, Only War 40k, Dungeon World, Apopcalyse World, Legacy: Life Amoung The Ruins, Numenera, Coriolis, and still wanting to see more. There's so many more RPG's out there. I'm glad you're exploring as well! We are based in EST US which might not work for you, but I know some enjoy staying up late in the night. Good luck 👍
I run a game on Thursday evenings (GMT time), and we might have room for one more. We play in the Forgotten Realms and using 5E, but the campaign is otherwise of my own creation, and set in an earlier time period than is default for the 5E books, as well as in a somewhat different part of the world. It's decidedly RP-heavy, with combat an occasional occurrence - we average probably one fight per two sessions, or thereabouts. The group is very open-minded, and we ask for the same from anyone interested in joining us. Our preferred candidate identifies as female (to balance the group, since we likely will have a female player leave due to work changes), is mature, and interested in a campaign with a lot of background information and a fair amount of intrigue. Social engagement with NPC and figuring out plot is probably half of our game time, so if immersion isn't in your wheelhouse, this may not be your kettle of fish. Reliability is also important, so we look for people with a non-changing schedule and a stable home life - students and flex workers would not fit well with our schedule. As it stands, the campaign is 16 sessions old, and the group is level 4 at the moment. More importantly, however, is making sure that you, as a player, would feel at home among us, and we comfortable with you. As a result, I'm not yet interested in character proposals, but in hearing about you, the player. What drives you? What do you do to express yourself? If the above sounds interesting, please send me a private message! I'd be glad to hear from you. Cheers, Pat
