Player Macro to return random word

As a player, would like to have a macro that returns a random word/phrase. E.g. Apple or Pear or Banana From what I gather this is only possible via a rollable table.. However a rollable table is not typically available to a player Is there any way to do this in a macro? (The reason for this is I want a macro for my character to spout a random curse at the click of a button)

Rollable tables cant be created by players, but they can roll on them. There's no way to do this with a macro.

If you're you talking about randomised curses for things like Vicious Mockery, yes you can do this as a GM. e.g. /me [[1t[VM1]]] a string of filth at @{target|token_name}! You are a [[1t[VM2]]] piece of [[1t[VM3]]] [[1t[VM4]]], and your [[1t[VM5]]] has a [[1t[VM6]]] [[1t[VM7]]]. Is my vicious mockery macro. The contents of the rollable tables are puerile, and posting them would probably get me banned. My halfling is a horrible piece of work. However, some of the output can be pretty amusing - much like people from some European countries tend to get creative with swearing in English, using unusual combinations that are common in their own tongue. As long as the GM is happy to put your tables in the game and clicks "players can roll from table" it'll work fine. As GiGs said players cannot do this themselves.

If your gm is a pro member, he could make a new game and make you a gm there. You can make the tables you want there. Then he can transmogrify them to the actual game and give you permission to use them.
