Token sizing

A lot of the art assets I have purchased don't size to the 70x70 box well so it looks like my party has some huge people and some tiny people. This will not do. Using the Alt/Drag method is hinky because I end up with a bounding box that doesnt match the squares - akward for Pathfinder. I was going to try manually resizing the tokens in Photoshop but can't figure out how to do it. Also - the library functions are frustrating. There is no way to tell what Packs or Sets I have purchased or what set or even author a token came from. Any help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Are the tokens not square? Basically, what you want to do in Photoshop is this: Open the PNG file in Photoshop Hold the CTRL button and click on Layer 1 in the Layers Window. (This will select all the non transparent data in the image) Go to Menu -> Image -> Crop (this will crop the image down to the extents of the token illustration) Go to Menu -> Image -> Canvas Size... Make sure the image is being measured in pixels in this new window. Find the largest dimension (width or height) and then change the opposite dimension to match. What we're doing here is we're squaring the image's dimensions off without distorting the token drawing. Click OK. Save corrected token. Now the newly edited token should completely fill a Roll20 square without distortion.
They are standard tokens - many by Devlin. Beautiful but not working. what i need to know is how to download teh Tokens to do anything to them?
Im also curious why the hundreds of tokens made specifically for this tool dont seem to have taken this into account - am i missing something?
They were not made specifically for roll20. Devin has his own site, in fact you can find plenty of tokens there for free just download them open them up in paint.net/gimp/photoshop and adjust to fit as needed. I don't think you can alter the images you purchase from the market place on roll20. http://immortalnights.com/tokensite/ http://immortalnights.com/tokensite/?orderby=price&post_type=product I find his small goblinoids too tiny as well, they are about half the size I like.
LOL well heckfire. I stayed within Roll20 because i want to support it.

Mike, if you have purchased some packs from Devin Night, you should be able to download from his marketplace package page. For example: If you purchased https://marketplace.roll20.net/browse/set/182/devin-token-pack-45-heroic-characters-1, then on that page there will be a "Download to Your Computer" link.
so whatever system is in place will know i bought them elsewhere? can i find out what i bought and from who? as far as i can tell "Purchased" is just a big pile of "stuff"

The system could use some improvement, but this is how you can track your tokens down (if in a roundabout way): Do an image search in Roll20 (with the Everything filter selected) of what you think will grab some of your marketplace purchases. After it brings up anything that matches in your personal art library it will bring up marketplace items. Those you've purchases will pop up with a link below them listing their name and artist. The link will bring you to their marketplace page, which includes what set they're from. You can also download the token image directly from their marketplace page (if the artist allows that option).

If you download the free packs from my site they have all been fixed to be square. When I first started making tokens when Fantasy Grounds was the big game in town it didn't require tokens to be square. All of my newer packs 21-56 have also been updated to be square.
excellent! your stuff is great so I will start there - thanks!
