iPad Air 2019 function with webpage ?

Hi I ordered a iPad Air in the mail just wondering before it arrives if it will work to play D&D E 5 on this website not on the app. Or should I get the app too ? If anyone has an iPad Air please let me know if functionality and using the game I would need Skype & to be @ the webpage. Or easily if it just works in general would be greatly appreciated for answering thank you !!

Also , as a side question. When I see streams on twitch with the map in the middle are they using For video around the map , either or Skype or the webpage video. I know iPad may not have web rtc or what’s it called to use video on webpage but Skype would work if I wanted to be in a stream with the map ? Ty.

I believe you can use a tablet or smartphone in the website if the creator of the game is a Pro subscriber. I have a player in my 13th Age game using a smartphone. It’s a little bit inconvenient for her, so I click the buttons on her character sheet for her.

Will I still have the same experience on iPad as a pc without the voice / video part is what I’m concerned about other than using the app and just using the browser ? Like I can still use the browser right ? And the character sheet all on the browser dice rolls etc ? Or if I wanted to be a DM possibley use those tools ?
