Whisper does not work on messages with line breaks.
I wrote a whisper with line breaks but it sent everything before the first one as a whisper, and the rest as a normal message. This spoiled a lot of hidden character backstory to the rest of the party...
I'm sorry it caused problems for your game. I assume this was a pretyped message, maybe in a macro? Here is a good way around it in the future, by using a template. The default template is available in all games.
No worries, these things happen. I just wanted the phenomenon to be known if it wasn't already... It isn't ever going to change if no one mentions it! I'll look at those templates for next time thank you :)
A solution (if you don't want to use roll templates) is to encase your text in {{ }} /w gm {{test test more test even more test another test extra line test super test ULTRA test}} You get the {{}} in the output but it retains the whisper as a block of text:
