I
am from England hence the timezone of BST or British summertime. I am
open to other groups outside of Europe if it would fit within my time of
playing. So for most others that would generally be morning/early afternoon American
times. Just for reference when this post was sent it was 10:15pm to get a
sense of what time it is for me compared to you. I am 26 years old and
would describe myself as a bit of a nerd - mainly video games putting me
there but some pop culture stuff would too. I would say I am easy to
get on with, I can be a bit shy when I first get to know people but
after getting to know people I really open up.
Myself and a few of my friends discussed playing some DnD a few
months back. With the lockdown, we got playing over on Roll20. We ran
through Lost Mine of Phandelver as our starter campaign as it was part
of the starter set and was a good introduction to it all. I had a load
of fun with it all and learnt quite a lot about DnD. I would not say I
am experienced as we probably played it a bit like a lite DnD session to
not complicate too much and learn the basics. But I have played for
maybe the past 2 months once a week and that has made me learn the basics of DnD at least so I am not going in blind. My
experience of it all just made me just want to play more on top of our
new Star Wars 5e campaign we have started up.
In terms of my free time, I am still working. I work up until 5pm so
weekdays I am probably free from around 6:30/7pm till late (midnight or so) depending on how
tired I get during the week. Weekends are a bit varied really. Normally
Saturday would be ruled out completely and Sunday late afternoon/evening
works best. But currently Saturday afternoon/evening is an option but
won't likely be in future so I would prefer to avoid saturdays due to
that reason.
So I am looking to see what one shot adventures or campaigns I can do
and get myself more immersed in the DnD culture which I have so far
really enjoyed. Please get in touch if you have a group that would be
willing to take me on.
