Updated Dynamic Lighting, Nightvision and Light Sources

I'm having an issue whenever a character with nightvision stands near a light source in an otherwise dark area. The inner part of the circle of light emitted by appears to the character as normal, and everything beyond the edge of the light source appears normal, but the edge of the light source is a black gradient, making that part of the map dark to the character. I've attached a screenshot for reference. The character with the yellow aura (with the name Clehrin) has darkvision to 60 ft. For the image, I'm using CTRL+L so we can see from her perspective. The character with the white aura is holding a torch emitting 15 ft. of bright and 15 ft. of dim light. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get rid of this weird black gradient. Any idea what's going on and how to fix this?

These questions come up all the time on the forums. Updated Dynamic Lighting is not intended to be a full working release at this point. It is essentially in widespread beta testing. That is why Legacy Dynamic Lighting is still available in parallel. You should use LDL for any actual games until UDL is ready. There is a bug thread for UDL if you have something to add: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8422745/a-new-light-bug-thread-updated-dynamic-lighting-and-fog-of-war/?pageforid=8471828#post-8471828
Much appreciated, thanks David. Sorry for the redundant question. I searched for some time but didn't see this particular issue raised anywhere else.

It is listed as one of the known issues with the new system. See the second message in https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8422745/a-new-light-bug-thread-updated-dynamic-lighting-and-fog-of-war/?pagenum=1 "When a token with Night Vision is at the edge of a lit area, there is a gradient at the edge of the lit area before the night vision begins. No worries Eric. I wasn't saying you should have seen it on the forum before. Kind of the opposite - my intent was to highlight that you are not alone in that it is not immediately clear to many users that UDL is not yet fully functional. I was one of those, too!
