Heya, guys! Playing a module that my friend made. Its a monster wave, defend the fort kinda thing where you have to beat a series of waves where enemies attack a point. There are some roleplaying. I guess its around 60 combat and 40 roleplay You guys can create your own characters at level 2. We will be using a discord server I made to communicate. After the game, you guys can stick around for more one-shots or campaign that I made there. These payments will be used to buy dnd contents and software that will give my players more immersive experience and joys. Currently planning to but the Dungeondraft software so that I can create my own battle maps and create homebrew one-shots for my players. I got ideas (Muahahaha :D). More info on my discord server. Planning on hosting on Saturday 20 June 10:00 PM MYT but we can change it to Sunday 21 June 9:00 AM MYT if you guys want. MYT is my timezone this is my listing link: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/234358/defense-of-the-dryad-paid-game-newbies-friendly More info there in my listing but I can also put some info here: A woodland Animal Messenger arrives to present the adventurers with a mysterious letter. The critter is noisy and insistent, demanding of attention. The decoration and gilding of the envelope seem animated, curiously vibrant, and is almost certainly magical. A dark green wax-seal has a tiny, ornate golden leaf attached. A payment, or bribe perhaps? Should the would-be heroes open the letter, it is a beautifully handwritten letter from a being declaring themselves as “Lady Devra, Dryad Paladin of the Ancients and Keeper of the First Tree” explaining an urgent call-to-action and mustering of all available and good-aligned adventurers. Simply put; the grove is under constant attack and the defense of the Tree is of the utmost importance. The act of quelling the siege and succeeding in the defense of the Tree would grant a contract to traverse the Faewilde. In addition, an audience and potential favour from the Seelie Council of Archfey would be granted. Would adventurers heed the call? ABOUT THE GAME 1. This one-shot generally for new players but you experience player can have a crack at it too. Preferably newbies. 2. This one-shot is similar to a monster wave kinda battle that the party has to defeat where each wave has different monsters. As such, it is a 60 combat 40 roleplay type game. 3. You guys can use your own characters. Characters are all Level 2. If new players require assistance in creating their character, we can do a session 0 kinda thing. (more info in the application post) and we may level up in the middle, just for fun. 4. I will allow the standard class and race from PHB and I will also allow the ones from Xanathar's Guide to Everything. 5. It will be around 3-4 hours one-shot but this one-shot may take at least two sessions to finish. So steel yourself lol 6. We will be using Discord server that I created for easy communication. **You can use Voice. Just get an okay mic. The most important thing is you can hear me. Of course, if you're having mic problem, you use text chat on roll20.** 7.Will be 4 to 6 players. If we have 4 players and did not manage to get 6 players before the time set then we can just start the game. 8. The creator of this module is actually a player I had played with, which is a cool dude by the name coffeeandcantrips. So, I really wanna show what he cooked up and support the guy. BIT OF RULES 1. No excessive profanity like strong swearing, sexual innuendos, racism, etc. We may have younger players here. Seriously. Mild swearing is fine. I'm watching you lot. 2. We are all trying to have fun here, alright? So, no fighting with each other. Don't start a PvP and kill each other before the enemies can get a chance. DISCLAIMER This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of < $3 once for the whole game via paypal. One time pay. Due 24 hours before gametime >. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
