Encountering problems uploading image file to Roll20.

Hello, recently I've been trying to upload an updated version of a map I had made to Roll20 so i could use it in my game, but when I go to upload it in the editor, nothing happens. It lets me select the file and hit the 'upload' button. But once that's done the file doesn't load and nothing happens. This seems to only be for images of the map too (the map, for the record, is a PNG file of a map which was done in MSpaint, this image file is the same as the image file we had been using up until that point. The only changes made to the map was adding more details like settlements and landmarks. The map size was increased or converted to a different file type). I can upload smaller images and tokens just fine, but no such luck with the map.  So far, I've tried uploading the map by itself numerous times. I've always tried splitting the map into two, 11.6mb maps and uploading them individually, but again, no such luck. I've tried making a version of the map that was shrunken down to 75% its original size and uploading that. But no luck. I'm not very skilled with computers so for the time being I am stumped. If anyone is/has encountered this problem and knows how to resolve it please let me know.  p.s the original map size is 24.4mb.

Image uploads for Free users are limited to 5MB per image. Converting it to a JPG might help reduce the size. Using PNG adds extra overhead without benefit unless your map is using transparency.

Image uploads have a maximum upload size of 10MB. Even that is a huge file to try and run a game with. 24.4 MB is way more than you can expect decent performance with. Can it be downsampled? Anything more than 140 pixels to the grid scell is overkill. Can it be compressed? Try high compression on a JPG file. Depending on the image, a very high compression may not even be noticeable. Is it in JPG format? It should be. There are vanishingly few good reasons to do a map in any other format. Can it be split to be used across different pages?
sorry for late response. Converted it to JPG and it worked fine. Thanks guys
