Is there a way to protect drawings from "clear drawings" tool?

Hello,  first of all I want to apologize if this question has been asked before. I am brand new to roll 20 and figuring out a lot on my own right now, slowly trying out more functionalities. One problem I have run into is how to protect certain drawings from the clear drawings tool.  I have a word map in which I am slowly adding points of interest the players have discovered. During a session, the map gets filled up with doodles, either made by players, or myself to visualize a route they are taking or similar. At the end of the session, I would like to remove superfluous drawings, while keeping the points of interest.  So, is there a way, to protect certain drawings from the clear drawings tool? Thanks in advance

Have you tried moving the things you want to save to the map layer?

As Dakota says, Clear Drawings only applies to the current layer.  If your map is drawn on the map layer and you are playing and drawing on the Objects Layer, clearing drawings will only clear the Objects Layer.

Thank you, that did the trick. Though I do hava a follow up question. Did I get it right, that players can only draw on the token layer, even if I am on the map layer myself?
