Dynamic Lighting - Showing only subset of light area

Advanced Dynamic lighting on.  Setting is cavernous and lined with the dynamic lighting polygon tool Lights initially work properly Reload page Remove a light and add it back Lighting on the entire page is now broken Lights only emit a sliver of the area they should illuminate Occurred two times when building this map The only fix I've found is creating a new map from scratch. Tried clearing all dynamic lighting drawings. Tried turning dynamic lighting off and back on. Tried turning daylight mode on and off Note below - two characters are emitting 20 ft bright, 20 ft low light One torch is emitting 20 ft bright, 20 ft low All are only showing a sliver. There are no dynamic lighting lines on the map Confirmed that existing lights work. Copying an existing working light produces the same sliver effect. Therefore the issue is constrained to the creation of new light sources.
Switch back to the "legacy" lighting system, since the "new" dynamic lighting has lots of issues.
Weird.  That looks like the function from the legacy lighting system where you could set the range of sight the token had, instead of just using 360 ° lighting.  Could you have settings from both systems selected? Does it do the same thing if you give them night-vision instead of having them emit bright and dim light?  If there are no dynamic lighting lines on the map, does dynamic lighting need to be activated? Or perhaps Daylight Mode would work?

steven, it might help if you were to carefully go over your post and compare with the terminology on the dialog boxes, editing where necessary. Or better yet use screen shots of settings. Currently this is difficult to decipher because some of the terms you are using don't exist and the terms that do exist are very similar for very different things. There is no such thing as "Advanced Dynamic Lighting" for instance.
Hi Keith. Sure. By "Advanced Dynamic Lighting" I mean the "Updated Dynamic Lighting". You know. The new one :) The issue presents upon loading the map. I was able to resolve this by disabling Updated Dynamic Lighting, enabling Legacy Dynamic Lighting,  and configuring all the tokens as such.
I am having the same issue currently.  We are in a game, everyone with Darkvision is locked into directional vision.  If we turn the token, we can turn the vision. We have vision area set to 360 degrees, but it still doesn't work.  We have to set everyone to having a torch at their distance in order to actually play this evening.
Hey Gavin, did you try to disable "Updated Dynamic Lighting"? Then configure the torch tokens with a 40 ft light, 20 foot falloff, all players can see. Then configure player tokens with "Has Sight", and enable legacy dynamic lighting. Hope that helps!
Same problem here. As of last night, once I turn the Updated Dynamic Lighting on, it looks like it creates a second projected version stuck to the corner of the original picture. Daylight mode makes it go away, though obviously that reveals the whole map but keeps vision active. Going into legacy got rid of the projected version, but ended up putting everything dark, even for the characters with darkvision.  I tried Legacy, and it worked, though I did have to redo a bunch of my work on tokens.  Hotfix incoming, I hope?
