In one of my games as GM, I can't edit any of the character's files. In this way, I can't permmit a player to manage his character.

Ensure you haven't accidentally signed in as a player (head to the settings tab in game and see what the button at the top says, if it says Rejoin as GM then you are a player and need to click that button).
