I've been playing / DMing / GMing in various genres such as Dungeons and Dragons, White Wolf, and Star Wars d6 (WEG) since '89. Apparently, I'm 2 years behind the times in being introduced to FFG's Star Wars RPG - however, I really love the narrative dice system. I've only GMed a handful of games, so I'm still working out my own understanding of the system... but I think with the right people, we can tell a great story. I'm looking to see if there's any interest out there. If so, I'll probably bump this account up to Pro so that we can get the API for the narrative dice. The story that I have in mind would be roughly 15 BBY, set in the Outer Rim. Any Jedi that exist are in hiding / being hunted by the Inquisitors. The Rebel Alliance are still small cells working independently, or operating through secretive points of contact like "Fulcrum" (though don't expect to meet Ahsoka Tano or the Phoenix Squadron. I don't think I could do Ahsoka any justice, and I just don't like the Star Wars: Rebels series). We'd be starting out on Tatooine because what better way to start during these dark times than to be the furthest away from the "bright center of the universe". I'm based in the US Central Time Zone, and I'd prefer doing something on the weekends - though my schedule really is flexible. M-F, it'd have to have a 6-7pm start time and a run time of 3-4 hours. Saturday and Sunday, I'd shoot for a noon start. If you're interested, answer the following questions: 1) Tell me a little about your gaming history (and yes, this does include any online RP as seen on MUSHes, MUDs, etc). 2) What do you like about the Star Wars genre? (What are you expecting to see in game story-wise? Jedi vs Sith? Empire vs Alliance? Bounty Hunting? Smuggling? Blaster fights? Dog fights? Political espionage? Covert operations behind enemy lines? The list goes on) 3) How much experience do you have with FFG SW? 4) What kind of character do you want to play? (You might want to give a couple of examples. I'm looking for the players to be working together and telling their own Star Wars story) 5) And of course, you can ask whatever questions of me
