Game Creator can't make a session

I am looking to purchase a plus account and a module so my son can run a game with his friends.  My son will have his own account and I plan to create the game and promote him to GM.  In this scenario do I, as the game creator, have to be a player in the game as well?  I may play in some sessions but I know there will be times he will want to run a session where I cannot play. Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

You can be a player in the game, without ever joining a session. So you can create the game for your son, make him a GM, and then leave them to play. You don't need to be involved after that. Your son might need to use his own library for graphic assets and the like, I'm not sure how that works.
