completely new player looking for a group

Hi, So I am new to D&D as I said in the title, I have not been able to play any game yet due to me being unable to find a group to play with. I know the basics of D&D and have made a couple to characters thru DnDBeyond to get the hang of it. I will be able to play Fridays and Saturdays because I am still in school so if it is any other day I will probably be too busy to play.
