Is it possible to use serif fonts in the VTT?

Currently, there are five font options to select from within the VTT Text  tool. They are all sans-serif. I would like to use a font with serifs. Is this at all possible? If not, I can see the following possible solutions, suggested in order of my personal preference: The ability for a GM to upload a custom font for use with the Text  tool, and all players in the game can see the rendered text. The ability for a GM to upload a custom font for use with the Text  tool, and all players in the game can see the rendered text, or at least something specified with a CSS fallback stack. The above, but only for subscribers, and Roll20 adds one or more (free, serviceable) serif fonts to the default selection. Roll20 sells fonts in the marketplace, and adds one or more (free, servicable) serif fonts to the default selection. Roll20 adds one or more (free, servicable) serif fonts to the default selection. The ability for a player to upload a custom font for use with the Text  tool, even if only...     A. players who have the font installed can see it rendered correctly     B. the GM can see it rendered correctly I've considered custom user-styles or javascript, but interacting with the canvas and roll20's code seems like it would be janky and fragile. About all I can think of to do now is to detail in serifs with the  Freehand  or Draw Shapes  tools. That isn't at all workable. Apologies for the questionable list formatting; I can't seem to figure out how to nest lists with the WYSIWYG editor, enter the markup that I want directly, or even see a preview of my post.

I've asked about adding more fonts to the text tool before in a community roundtable and they didn't really give a satisfactory answer. What they said was that sheet authors are now allowed to load fonts from google fonts, so in theory if a character sheet uses a serif font, that font is accessible outside of the character sheet as it's now loaded in the browser. I'm not sure how that helps since I don't think you can use them in the text tool, but that was the answer they gave. If you're experienced maybe you can find a workaround and if you do, then theoretically you could use a custom character sheet (pro feature) and add as many fonts as you wanted to use.

Well, you can always right what you want in Word and the copy/paste it into a handout... And after I saved that text... One quick clarification, I actually used Pages, but Word should work, too... Still, a pain that you'd have to write it in a separate application, but it is a workaround.
What you show applies for all fields with the WYSIWYG editor (and then AFAIK only from within Chrome). The VTT text tool is the tool that allows you to write on the map. And that tool only allows the five fonts Arial, Patrick Hand, Contrail, Light and Candal. The last three i have never used because they are ugly and have no fantasy feel what so ever.

I agree with this sentiment, and I believe there is a post under Suggestions to allow for more fonts. The fonts currently allowed are limited, hard to read, and not very useful unless you're zoomed at 100% or more. Besides, I have a few normal fonts that are included in Windows default that I really like to see in Roll20 (i.e. Segoe UI and Segoe UI Semibold).
