everybody. We are a
group of friends (4-5 people) looking for a new Game master for our Marvel
universe Roleplay, as well as interested new players who would like to join our
RP. We usually roleplay all together in the weekend days (Saturday and Sunday)
from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. EST, but recently we are considering moving our time
set from 2:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. EST or, alternatively, from 3:00 a.m. to 5:30
a.m. EST. We have not decided yet, however. Tone and Setting of the
Roleplay Our
Roleplay is set in a Marvel universe of the 1990s, thus set before events such
as the Civil War between Sup erheroes, "One More Day", House of M and
the Decimation. However, it is slightly AU, and this allows us to have in it
characters invented later or with modern personality (for example Deadpool,
Squirrel Girl, Kamala Khan, and Gwenpool), as well as using plots different from
the official Marvel universe ones. One of the
main differences that we aim to have in our roleplay is a different development
of temporal events: House of M will not happen, or if it will happen, it will
have a very different outcome, and consequently, there will be no Decimation.
Mutants will remain a substantial percentage of the human population, and will
continue to grow in number over time. In the same
way, the "Civil War" between superhumans won't happen (in fact, we
are planning a storyline thanks to which our characters will "foil"
the reality show of the New Warriors, avoiding the Stanford Accident and all
that it has achieved) and the tone of the plots and storylines will be positive
and idealistic, similar to Marvel Adventures comics. Where we RP Roleplay
takes place exclusively on Discord: we have our own server where we do
Roleplay, and where we usually meet to discuss our sessions after the end of
them. Characteristics of the
ideal GM Must have a good knowledge of the
Marvel universe and the X-Men in particular. At least, the "classic"
version (we are NOT going to do “Dawn of X”) Must respect the plots and
storylines we have already played, as well as those we intend to play in the
future. Must be able to RP on Saturday and
Sunday at times indicated. Must be able to accept and manage slightly
OP Original characters. Must have good experience in RP. Must have a Discord account to
access our server
