[LFG][Free][5e][Europe Time Zone] [Voice]Looking for a medium or long term campaign or module

Hi there, I'm Michael. Here is some useful information about me: Time Availability: My timezone is +3 GMT currently and I am available to play either weekday evenings or weekends whenever (but not during the night) as long as I know in advance. You don't need to be the same timezone or anything, I don't mind if it's another time of day for you while we play, but it's useful to know for scheduling since I can easily make time if I know in advance but it's a problem if you make big changes last minute too often. Who am I?:   I'm 28, I played a bit of 3.5th edition back in the day, recently found roll20 and played some pathfinder(partway through a homebrew campaign) and 5e(a really fun one shot and a bit over half of a module). I tend to be pretty friendly and positive, I have a lot of varied interest from theater and opera to books, manga and video-games. My tastes for things in general are very spread out, for example I went to lawschool but work in IT.  I've read the 5e rule books and am very comfortable with the rule set. I have also used roll20 for some of the games I've played so I am familiar with the system but there are still things I don't know about it. I enjoy roleplaying and, until now, I think I did a pretty alright job, not spectacular and can be improved. Don't expect me to be a professional voice actor. English is not my native language although a lot of my clients are foreign so my English is pretty alright since I end up using it frequently, that said I still have a clear Eastern European accent. I take criticism well and don't take it as a personal attack, so if you think there's some way to improve on something I'm doing feel free to tell me. What campaign/module am I looking for?:   Something medium to long term in length (at least 6+ sessions of 3-4 hrs). I'd like a campaign that is taking the characters and the world seriously(mostly), but still allows itself to have moments of levity and jokes from time to time, not looking for something super gritty, oppressive and overly tragic. (Alternatively I'd be open to a comedic short campaign or one-shot, but nothing too long). I want to learn more about the characters and see how they develop through the story, this means I don't want a campaign were half the party dies every week because of some save-or-die trap we failed to see or cheap stuff like that. Characters dying from time to time is alright as long as it doesn't feel cheap and feels like an interesting narrative moment, but what I want is collaborative storytelling, not Players VS DM.  I enjoy all of the pillars of gameplay and my favorite part is when what you do in one pillar affects the others: Like when RP can lead to different combat situations or when investigations reveal things about upcoming characters we'll RP with or an enemy's weakness in an upcoming battle. I love playing characters that fit in with the world and seem like they belong in this story, so I'd like to discuss things before picking a character so it doesn't feel like I'm playing something transplanted from a different fantasy universe or a character with a personal story that has nothing to do with the campaign story. If I had to give an example of the kind of character I'd like to play off the top of my head ... maybe an unsuccessful travelling salesman that gets caught up in a plot and ends up adventuring to do the right thing emboldened by stories of one of his grandparents who was a heroic adventurer, but his personality is that of a merchant, always trying to get you to buy something ... or maybe a very shady criminal doing the right thing for the wrong reasons who might find friends and values worth fighting for along the way and become a better person ... maybe someone bold and competitive that always likes to challenge the people he meets to various contests of might or wit ... or maybe a travelling fortune teller that's actually a scam artist and gives people readings ... I'm not really set in stone on any of the concepts really, just listing them here since it feels like a lot of ads post about the characters they want to play. When it comes to the Class Gameplay I really like these sub-classes and the options they offer at any level: Order Cleric | Light Cleric | Valor Bard | Celestial Pact Warlock | Hexblade Warlock | Draconic Sorcerer | Divine Soul Sorcerer | Moon Druid | Abjuration Wizard | Bladesinger Wizard | Arcane Trickster Rogue | Gloomstalker Ranger | Monster Slayer Ranger. Sub-Classes I'd love to play but only if the campaign starts at level 6+ because they get their most fun defining sub-class ability at level 6 or 7 : Shadow Sorcerer | Conquest Paladin | Eldritch Knight Fighter I think these options should be enough to round out most parties, while I'm less excited about the following sub-classes I'd be ok with playing any of these too if you think the party really needs it: Battle Master Fighter | Sun Soul Monk | Totem Barbarian | Land Druid | Arcana Cleric | Forge Cleric | Life Cleric | Echo Knight Fighter | Lore Bard Overall I like classes with options both in and out of combat and I'm not a big fan of dedicated frontline characters (but I like characters that can frontline a few times a day if needed) I also tend to like characters that can heal in a pinch but aren't built around doing that all the time. That being said if a class seems like it'd be really cool with the story we're getting I'm happy to go out of my comfort zone. I like every character getting a chance to shine and having one thing they're really good at and one thing they're really bad at, so I wouldn't want to double up on sub-classes with someone else. Oh, and I've heard good things about a lot of the published modules so I'm happy to give more of those a shot too, it doesn't have to be a campaign you've built yourself. Thanks for reading and looking forward to hear from you, Michael
Hello! I want to host the published campaign Out of the Abyss soon. It will be my second time as a DM (first time DM'ing for total strangers on Roll20, but very excited). I sent you a PM with more information!
