New player-LFG. [D&D 5E]

So I have...NEVER played D&D before due to a lack of a local scene where I live. So I figured I may as well try inquiring here? Is anyone willing to like, give me an opportunity for a taster session? Ideally something short? My timezone is the UK so ideally something close to that would be perfect but if not then we can always arrange another time. I've sat in and observed the game, or something similar, a few times but beyond that I have zero experience.

Hi Lunar. I am inexperienced too and I am myself preparing to start a Single Shot campaign as a DM (1 or 2 times 2 - 4h sessions). I have designed a Level one Half-Orc Barbarian that you can play right on for this adventure. I think that single player would be easier to handle as a first time. Discord voice is better. I am on The GMT +9 zone so probably best time would be morning-afternoon for you and afternoon evening for me, on Saturdays and Sundays.

Hmmm....yeah I'm happy with that. I do actually have an old levle one drow character sheet lying around and, I think, a level five Paladin I made to join someone else's ongoing game. Sadly that game never happened so they have been gathering dust. What times exactly where you thinking?
