All my worlds are Broken. Mass Missing Information on Characters and Encounters.

When generating characters, they do not save properly.  The red bar stops with about 1/10 left and never completes.  If you close the character, it can be opened as normal but "Personality Trait, Flaws, ect. and bio description information" is missing and need to be manually entered.  When I first played this game starting over a year ago up to about 4 months ago, I had no problem with the character generation tool using the D&D 5e format. Also, Many Monster Manual characters do not link to the correct info.  My "Bandit Captain" character sheet is actually "Myrfolk".   The "War Priest" is an "imp".  Most are correct but many are not. Both these problems started at the same time about 3 months ago. This bug happens to ALL the games a run and when I generate a character for someone else's game. Purchase:  Baldur's Gate, MM, Ebberon, XGE, Volo's, Players and DM's packages.  Now I don't know how to fix and have stopped recommending Roll20 as a platform partially because I am frustrated but also, feel that it is starting to become to burdensome to use.  I hope that it can be fixed.  I am willing to scrap all my games and start over if necessary but with all my players having to redo their characters, I am hoping a different fix can be found. Any Idea's, MJ

The first problem is hopefully one that can be fixed easily. Are you working on sheets that are popped out into their own window when using the charactermancer? It will never finish writing in this case. The solution is to change this behavior in the settings tab and use the charactermancer only when a sheet is engaged in the window. The second issue is not a problem I see reported often, which makes me feel it might be a procedural error. Do you get this on brand new games (drag in a compendium creature, but it is linked to another)? This sort of confusion can come from several practices: 1) improper linking or setting of default tokens, especially when copying characters. 2) editing a character and then expecting to get a fresh compendium character when you drag one in from the compendium. (The compendium will not overwrite an existing character, so if you happen to really bollux up a goblin, even new ones will be the bolluxed copy. The solution here is to fix the goblin and re-save the default token, or to delete the goblin character sheet and start over. 3) Third party extensions that alter Roll20.
