Tales of Orlanthea is a Westmarches style dnd server set in the city of Veradon in a persistent world using 5e. Players will start at level 5 as Copper ranked mercenaries, growing stronger and more acclaimed as they go on bounties; (usually) self contained one shots. DMs will post times, difficulty and the estimated length for the one shot with players forming unique parties each time. We've got plenty of homebrew(enough that we like to call the doc that lists it all "5.5e") and plenty of options for diversity among characters. Lore is developed by our lore team which is implemented into the one shots if the DM wills it, in fact in just a few weeks we're planning on releasing a massive addition to the world's lore in the form of a new continent. We do run 10-15 session campaigns and DMs will sometimes run multipart bounties with long running consequences. Outside of one shots, we're also a RP server (so don't get freaked out when you see all the different chats) with way too few people partaking, it'd be awesome to get a few more people role playing with us all. We have a few DMs from different timezones but are always looking for more! To become one you simply ask and have 2-3 trial sessions, this way we can assure the quality of our DMs and improve everyone's experience. If you're new to DMing you can still get in on this, I actually ran some of my first games on the server, the vast majority of players are courteous and god knows we're all thirsty for more one shots.
