Charactermancer Stuck on "Building Your Character" Screen

I'm trying to build a new character using the charactermancer.  It's my first time using it, so I'm not too familiar with it, but the interface seemed simple enough.  The character is a half-elf paladin.  Everything is pretty standard, except I had to manually input the faction agent background because I didn't have the right book for it.  I got through inputting all my information and clicked "Apply Changes," and it went to a screen that said "Building your character..." with a progress bar.  The problem is I waited several minutes, and the progress bar never filled up.  I saw a thread where someone else experienced a similar problem and recommended "popping out" the character sheet, but that didn't help me.  I've tried using both Chrome and Firefox, both have the same problem.  If anyone has any ideas, I would be happy to hear them.

Actually, it's the other way around. The character sheet needs to be not popped out. Do you still have the issue with the character sheet in the main window? (You can toggle this behavior on your settings tab).
I've tried it both ways, with the same result each time.
I have a similar issue with a character that is stuck in the process of trying to level up in charactermancer. I am unable to "cancel" the level up, but it doesn't allow me to move forward. I submitted a case on this two weeks ago [#27431], but I never received a response.
