Does Roll Table use QuantumRoll?

basically just the title, All rolls in one of my games use a custom d10 table and my players are complaining that the tables tend to roll low most of the time. :(

Thats a good question. Table rolls dont have the quantum roll symbol, but that might just be a user-interface oversight. Whether the quantumroll system is used or not, you cant really go off personal feeling to tell if the rolls are random enough. You need to sample thousands of rolls, and check the distribution. For instance, i just created a d2, and made 1000 rolls (/roll 1000t[d2]) three times, and got 1506, 1531, and 1497, with an expected value of 1500. Thats very minor variation, easily accountable by random variation. If your table has more than two entries, its a lot harder to collate the results and analyze them, especially it its not producing numerical results. It would need to be an API script (Pro) to organise the output in a format you could analyze. But I feel comfortable saying it's probably as close to random as they can make it. Remember that with random rolls, you will get long stretches of low rolls, and long stretches of high rolls, with no pattern between them. It'll average out over the very long term. Which is why you need to do thousands of rolls to test it.

you should also check your weighting for each item on the table. If the "low" results are weighted more heavily that then high results, that could also account for it...

Also note that the weight is only the integer part. If you put in a decimal, it will take it, but truncate it to the integer part.
Thanks guys i appreciate the feedback. Is there another subsciption level I need to get in order to access the API?

So, if you look at the network tab after hitting f12 (in windows chrome, or just right click somewhere not on canvas and inspect elements), when you do a dice roll, it does a post (actually, 2 posts) to https://dice.roll20.net/doroll , which I'm guessing is the quantum roller thing, but if you roll from a table, it doesn't make that post (it will do something else, like a beep thing, if you're not on the chat tab).
