Game load times longer than usual

For the past 3-4 sessions my D&D 5e game has had longer load times than normal. When we first started playing several months ago the website loaded for everyone quickly. Now we are at a point that for two of my players they can't even move their character as they are having problems with the game loading completely. Whenever any person moves it lags for everyone. Especially true as DM if I move NPCs it takes several seconds for the moves to register and for me to be able to unselect them. This is a rather large issue during fights against multiple monsters. Does anyone know any fixes for this? We know it isn't an internet issue as none of the players or myself have problems with Discord voice, and all speedtests I do while loading show my internet is fine. Thanks again if anyone can help Running in google chrome most recent version. I don't use any browser addons or extensions I did try Roll20 Enhancement Sweet but I deleted the files and extension as I found it clunky. Windows 10 is current operating system. Edit - I just cleared chat logs and that didn't fix the issue. I saw that sometimes that can be an issue when logs are big but wasn't for me I guess
How much has your game grown over the last months in terms of maps, characters and npcs? Larger campaigns have longer load times. Did you start using UDL (the new dynamic lighting)? I read about a UDL bug that increase load times when the active page has dynamic lighting.
About 12 or so npcs and characters as well as 3 maps. All but 7 of the 47 maps currently in the campaign are archived at the moment though. I am not currently using UDL as I haven't had the time to reconfigure everything
Archiving maps, characters, and handouts does not lower the memory footprint of your game. All of them are still loaded up when the game starts. Archiving is a only a visual/organizing tool.
Make a copy of the game - an archive version.  Then delete all archived maps from the game you play with. When you ever need access to an old/deleted map, you can transmogrify it back.
Ok I got the same issue today, but I think might because of IP/VPN issue. When I turn off NordVPN, the map load perfectly, but when I turn it on, the game just can't load. Not sure why
