[LFP][Free]D&D5e][18+] Recruiting for a Homebrew, Souls-Like West Marches Game [Mostly CST][ENG]

Hello all! I am recruiting players for a 5e West Marches game I'm helping to manage. If you are interested in joining, please read the following information first before commenting or sending a private message. Note that once you join, we do have an interview/screening process. Our space is limited and we want to make sure it's being used by active, serious players. THE WAKING LANDS You play as a character who has survived an apocalyptic event only known as The Calamity. Nobody knows how or why this event occurred, only that it killed thousands. Some of the survivors, such as yourself, were given the ability to Awake; enabling them to come back after death at the cost of their being. Death will never truly come until the horrors of this world grow too much to bear. Will you explore this unchartered land full of danger and mystery? Or will you lose yourself in this endless cycle of death and rebirth? This campaign is a West Marches, and as such the world will continue to progress regardless if you are playing or not. Scheduling will work with players agreeing on a day & time to play, and then approaching the DM with said date. In short, there is no regular schedule like with other campaigns. If you can only play once a week, that's alright. If you want to play multiple times, that's certainly possible as long as it fits within other's schedules. Most of our players are CST, but we have some players in GMT. We also have homebrew world lore, as well as some table rules that are all accessible in our Discord server. That being said, we do have some requirements that you should take into consideration: Good Internet & a working microphone. We use Discord for voice communication, including while in session (there is some textrp, but it's meant to be used in-between sessions) Can speak English well. Nearly all of our players only understand English Basic knowledge of D&D 5e.  Willingness to roleplay seriously and be a teamplayer Must be at least 18 years of age. All of our players are adults and would prefer to play with other adults. Additionally, this game covers themes which may not be suitable for a younger audience Again, if you'd like to join, leave a comment here or send me a private message, and I'll give you a link to our Discord!
I'm interested, depending on the day you plan to play
jim J. said: I'm interested, depending on the day you plan to play Like I said in the post, the dates we play on are largely dependent on the players' initiative to schedule one. In our server, you'll post a set of dates you'd like to play on during that week and other players will respond to your post if they can make it. Theoretically, you could play multiple sessions back-to-back so long as it doesn't conflict with any players' or the DM's schedule. If you're still interested, let me know and I'll give you an invite to our Discord.
Hi there! This campaign sounds really interesting. I haven't played much West Marches, though I am familiar. It's been awhile since I've played in an online group, but I'm looking to supplement my in-person playing (usually Friday nights). I'm west coast, PST, but I think I could make the time difference work. Let me know! Thanks!

Hello! I've been scouring Roll20 for a West Marches game to join, and this one seems perfect! I have plenty of experience in other West Marches, and I'm an avid sufferer of Souls-like games, so I'd like to think I'd be able to fit right in. My timezone is EST, and I always work nights on weekdays. If it's a morning, an early afternoon, or a weekend, I can crew up with a team! All the listed considerations shouldn't be an issue. I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks plenty!
Hello. This all sounds quite interesting. Played 5E for a few years at this point, so I'd like to believe myself to at least have some minor understanding. I have no issues whatsoever in regards to the requirements and would love to apply.
Hey, I'm very familiar with the west marches playstyle and am currently looking for another to join. When you can, could you fire an invite my way? Thanks.
Hiya! Your game sounds super interesting, and I'd love to be a part of it. I've been through a good handful of west marshes in my day and I'm very experienced with the rules and flow of 5e. I'm perfectly happy and able with the requirements, and I live in CST, where mornings and afternoons tend to be better for my time scheduling. I'd love to hear back from you, thanks!
Hi! I’ve been searching for a good West Marches game for a little while and this sounds great! My time zone is CST and I have a flexible schedule. Been playing 5e pretty regularly for the past 6 years, so while I don’t claim to know all the rules, I can at least keep up. If you have room for me I’d love to join, thanks!
Hi there! I am interested in playing and have a very flexible schedule. I'm well versed in DnD5e, and I GM myself so I'd consider myself an above average roleplayer. Hope I could be a part of this game.
Greetings, this setting seems very interesting. I have been playing 5e for four years now, most of which have been in west marches. my schedule is somewhat consistent but in central so time zones work out. I'll take some time to get use to my character and the setting so roleplay will be a bit lackluster early on, but will grow in quality as i get more comfortable. Thank you for your consideration.
Hey there, This seems super interesting, I'm pretty experienced both as a GM and a player, would be interested in joining up as a player. Is there any chance I could receive an invite to the discord to learn more ?
