Text inside equations

Ill post a picture to be clear but for whatever reason when i place text in the equation it fails to compute properly and i was wondering if im placing the text incorrectly. The Bolded part is the part i want to add Example: {{attack=[[ 1d20cs>[[ @{crit-target} ]] + @{attack_macro} + Rapid Shot ?{Rapid Shot?|Yes,-2|No,0} + etc..... It comes out here incorrectly, the end value ends up miscalculating but when i remove the text its fine. How could i input this descriptor text without it being a problem?
You need to put single brackets around text. [Rapid Shot]
follow up i assume there is no way to make the brackets not show up? kinda  pet peeve but not important really
Not if you want text in there. You either have text with brackets or you don't have text at all.

If you wanted to get really carried away, I guess you could use Stylus to point to a custom font with invisible squackets [ ] for the inline tooltip text. You'd have to really hate squackets to go to that much effort.
