Player Made Handouts/Notes

One thing I've come to do in many of the games I've played in is asking the GM for a handout specific to myself or a few other players to edit at my leisure for cheat-sheet reminders or session notes. I'd love to see a section of the in-room Journal that players can freely make, edit the text of, and edit the permissions of handouts in without having to ask the offline or busy GM to make yet another handout for one or more specific players. For instance you could make a handout that only you(and the all-seeing GM overlord) can see and edit called 'Thing to not forget to use'. Or another one called 'Loot Log' that you made but allow anyone in the game to see and edit. Or 'Secret Evil Side of the Party Plan' full of diabolical notes only shared with one or more other players. I know you could just stick it in a word doc on your computer somewhere but it's nicer to have them in the room. It'd be a small but very welcome quality of life change, I know I've been wishing I could just make my own darn handouts for a looong time, Figured I'd finally to the smart thing and suggest it.

Yep!  I have a weekly reminder to check and see if each player has filled out the “personal quest” handout I have made for them, so that I can make another in case they want to use it. Be really nice if they could do all that themselves as needed instead, plus of course player notes on the region, NPCs, etc. The other obvious use case, as the OP mentioned, is the one player tracking party treasure; right now it is on a not-front-page of their character sheet, which means the other players can’t see it. Be great if they could create and control their own handout for that as well. And doesn’t seem super-ripe for abuse... worst case is tons of handouts slow the game down?
