i am unable to drag and drop any tokens from my journal. i have deleted any add ons i was using and made a copy to see if that would fix the issue but i am still unable to grab any monsters from the journal. It will allow me to drag MM monsters from compendium and drop those. module tokens i can not drag and drop.  thank you!

Are you dragging from the name in the journal, or the 3 bars that show at the left of the name when you hover over the journal entry?  You need to be dragging the name out.  The other is for reordering the entries within the journal.
yes. I have seen that if you add strahd map pack it screws everything up. i did and add then deleted it but issues isnt resolved.

I don't think deleting the addon will undo the data overwriting that happens when you add the map pack to the existing module. If this truly is the root cause of your issue, you might need to make a new game with the module. However, none of that should have affected creatures. Can you  open  a character sheet created by the game? Assuming that this is not a handle-drag issue, have you tried creating a new test game to verify that it is not a larger issue, but one strictly confined to that game?
Issue was resolved when i started a completely new campaign.

Will that solution work for you? You can use the Character Vault to move over PCs. Or you could file a  Help Center Request  and explain your issue. A dev might be able to fix the damage or move assets. The first method is probably quicker.
