Dynamic Lighting with my players in the dark

Hello,  I just upgraded to a Pro subscription and wanted to continue with my current Yawning Portal game, but using Dynamic Lighting going forward.  We've just started Hidden Shrine of Tamoachan, which has DL built into the maps, which is great.  I've watched the DL vids on YouTube and seem to have all of the necessary options checked for both the page itself and the individual tokens, but when I hit CTL+L to check to see what my players see, it's just black.  Logging back as the GM, I can definitely see the DL effects emanating from their tokens, so I know it's working.  I just can't understand what's wrong on their end.   What am I missing here?

As a player, you need to have control of a token on the page where you are, and that token needs to "have sight" and there needs to be a light source illuminating what they can see.  In all likelihood, you didn't add yourself to a character or token when you dropped in to Player mode.

Ok, so I'm definitely in control of all the tokens, both myself and the individual players.  Where exactly do I find "has sight"? (EDIT:  I found "has sight" in the Legacy settings, but that did nothing to solve this issue.)  I've seen this mentioned before and I've looked everywhere, but no dice.  These characters are not tied to character sheets on Roll20, but I'm pretty sure that's not the problem, since I haven't seen anything that mentioned that was necessary in order to use DL properly.  All of these characters have darkvision and that is currently enabled as well for each character at the appropriate distance.  Do they still need a light source for this?  I wouldn't see the point since they have darkvision.

Are you using Updated Dynamic Lighting?  The setting you want is Vision: Post screenshots of your page's UDL set up and your token's UDL set up, that will make it easier to help you troubleshoot.
Here's what I'm seeing. Page settings.  Selected Character Token Settings What the character is seeing when I CTL+L What I'm seeing in GM mode with DL enabled
Just a quick observation, not sure if ti is the issue. It appears as though the two bottom characters also have vision in a 120 degree arc and tinting it gray. try turning the tinting off or to white.

What do you have on the Legacy Dynamic Lighting for the page?
At this point, nothing has been touched in the Legacy settings.
Ok, so I backed every thing out and re-toggled and it now seemed to work just fine.  I hopped on with one of my players and it seems good to go.  Thanks for your efforts.  Keep up the good work.
