Ryan L.'s comparison roll

I tried the script that Ryan L posted, and it works great, but I'm wondering if there is a way to change the output. When I use it with a calculated result, it generates a result like this: I would prefer a result more like this:

I'm not familiar with that script, can you link to it?

And, what's an example of what you typed to activate it?

For this particular script, it's only generating the " RollResult: Failure by 7", rest is created by the original /r or /gr command. Effectively, it's post processing the results and outputting a comment regarding them. You could write a script that gives you the same capabilities and a different display format. You'd need to use an api command, possibly !r and !gr to mimic the existing commands.

check this one out: it works. well. with inline rolls. <a href="https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ardnived/Roll20-" rel="nofollow">https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Ardnived/Roll20-</a>... you just make sure your line contains two inline rolls and 'vs:' pretty much in any order. I like to use this global macro for a very clean output myself. /em rolls a Dodge check for @{selected|token_name} /w gm [[3d6]] vs: [[@{selected|dodge}]] very clean output in chat. examples of some output below.
