Two new-ish players looking for group and DM

So my friend and I are looking for a DM and a group, since we can't really apply to the same game easily. We are both new-ish, but we know the basics of how the game works. I personally am in a campaign as I make this post that is on Fridays, so any other day works for me. That is the only campaign I've been in so far, but I have experience in theatre, as well as roleplaying in a few MMOs, so it's very easy for me to get into character. I am fine with coordinating with the DM to create a character's backstory if the ones I have made don't necessarily fit the setting of the chosen world. I would prefer a longer campaign rather than just a one shot. Other than that, I'm 21 years old, and I'm a pretty chill person. I'm generally quiet, but depending on the situation, I can get a bit louder. I do swear a lot, but I can stop myself if need be, and I am always respectful. My friend will tell a bit about themself in a comment to this post. Oh, I also will not be able to do pay to play, as I don't really have any money to spare. Edit: we have found a campaign. I am the friend mentioned in this post! I have been in only two, relatively short campaigns (both cut off because of school/work) but got some decent experience playing the game and understand the mechanics. I have also DMed but prefer player. As far as roleplaying goes, I've rped mostly in text but can adjust to speech based roleplay. I can also adjust and tweak a backstory for a character with a DM if need be, I prefer longer campaigns rather than short ones, and get into campaigns lore/story/adventure really quickly. Outside the game, I'm 20 years old and also chill. However, i can be a bit sarcastic and scatterbrained but respectful of others. I swear a lot but like Maz, will adjust my vocabulary if i have to. I am also a huge nerd please ask me about monsters and biology, I will lose my absolute shit about it.

Hi,      My name is Brad and I will be running a Rime of the Frostmaiden campaign starting in early January (every other week) and need two players for a full campaign. I am currently running a Curse of Strahd campaign and tend to prefer a DM style similar to (though obviously not nearly as good as!) Matthew Mercer from Critical Role (world building, deep character arcs, an emphasis on the player etc.). Two of the players (experienced players who are really chill and dedicated to their games) from my Curse of Strahd campaign will be part of the 4-member PC group. I always like to conduct short videos on discord or Zoom just to make sure I am a good fit for the players and vice versa.  We are currently considering Wednesday night (5:00 PST) but the day is somewhat negotiable. Hello Mazreda and Lavender G., If you two are interested, I am putting together a brand new D&D 5e campaign with a few friends of mine. We're in our 40's if that isn't too old or intimidating for you guys. The main setting is in the Forgotten Realms. I have a lot of side-ventures planned out, but I'm not adding any of the big sourcebook modules/adventures such as The Curse of Strahd or Rime of the Frostmaiden. At least, not as of yet. I have plenty of equally fun and original stories, adventures, mysteries, and other content to keep you entertained for a very long time before introducing stuff like that. I'm looking for a possible 5-6 total players and already have 2 definite, 1 most likely, and 1 maybe. My campaign can easily accommodate up to 12 players if need be. Yes, I realize the rounds will be slow, but I'm not looking to run a fast-pace game. Once per week sessions lasting approximately 4 hours. As of right now, there really isn't any set day and time of play, but I am on the East Coast, with my two definite players being Central and West Coast time.
