Dynamic Lighting inconsistencies and overlaps.

So I thought I'd try out the new dynamic lighting.  Copied my game, just to be safe.  Converted it. Loaded a map with dynamic lighting layer alread configured. Dragged on the tokens from the side bar, set their vision to be for the three characters with dark vision has vision, dim light 60 ft. and for the single human with a light spell emits light 20ft, 5 ft dim light. Then the problems started.  So CTR+L seemed to indicate everything was fine, but if I logged back in as a player - everything was black.  Weird. Becase I should be able to see out to 60 ft. So I go back to being a gm.  and re-do the settings again.  and that's when I notice that now one of my dark vision tokens can't see anything at all - despite having the exact same settings as the other two dark vision tokens it says "light emitted" 0ft in a greyed out box.  All despite dim light being 60ft.  I cannot change this.  Nothing works.  Then I noticed that the shadows from one token were overlapping on another tokens vision.  Little hard to describe this but I had them looking at a gate but if I move a token I'd see the pattern of the bars move, but it would overlap the patter of the bars shadows being "cast" from the other token's "dark vision" that wasn't even emitting any light creating a sort of herringbone criss-cross effect.  Like I was seeing two characters shadows simultaneously. Which is bonkers.   So what on earth am I doing wrong? And since I'd rather like to send my players into the sewers next session on this specially purchased dynamicly lit map I bought on the marketplace, I'd kinda like to get it working but UDL seems totally beyond broken.  Which is a pity because I decided to pay for a pro membership becuase of Dynamic lighting and now I come to try and use it I find i can't.

This is the "Herringbone" pattern I was describing where each tokens vision seems to be interacting on the bars of the gate despite me being CTRL +L "Talkien" Character The shadows cast by the pillars are also similarly being "cut off" by interacting by the light being cast from the other tokens even when the only setting I've enabled on them if they have vision and dark vision out to 60ft. The Cleric Token is a human with no dark vision but who is emiting 20ft of light should have a neat little well of light around him and that is all.  He should not be able to see beyond this - and yet this is the view I get with CTRL+L, which is both further then he ought to be able to see and with all the overlapping shadows.   Can someone please explain what on earth is going on?

Ctrl-L doesn't work properly in UDL - you're seeing what all the tokens can see. You'll need to use a dummy account to get an accurate view of what a player would see. So you're not doing anything wrong, it's just extremely buggy :)

Ctrl-L is bugged in UDL, showing the sum of all tokens' vision. Most reliable way to check vision is logging in with a dummy player account, though I believe re-join as player will work, as well.
