I'm new. I've created a game, set Charactermancer to start for players at level 1, but when players open their characters, they don't see a D&D character sheet, nor do they get access to Charactermancer. What should I do? Thanks!

When you create a game, you need to choose what character sheet it is to use. Assuming you are playing D&D 5e, you should choose the D&D 5th Edition by Roll20 Sheet. You can choose this after creation time on the game's setting page.
