Help with a simple Macro (I think)

Can someone help with a descriptive spell Marco that prints some text (spell description) and then rolls damage but calls out the target token. So when I click on a target token (Monster token) and click the macro I get the damage roll (1d6+1) and it call out X damage to <Monster> Example: Character moves his hands and mumbles some accent words and a bolt of energy strikes <Target selected> for <Damage roll> Damage  Can anyone help me with this?  I can get everything working but I don t know how to call out the @target-Selected Thanks in advance

If you just need the token name you can get it two ways (target or selected) with these: @{target|token_name} @{selected|token_name} Is this the solution you need?

Ahh yes.   @{selected|token_name} what I want but how do I add on to that for the damage roll @{selected|token_name} takes [{/roll 1d6+1}] Damage does not work.

Inline roll syntax is what you would need so this should work: @{selected|token_name} takes [[1d6+1]] damage
